All Saints’ Church, Renhold, Bedfordshire, England

The schools have returned after half term and much has been happening at All Saints!

Big thanks to everyone who supported the Autumn Fayre, whether helping or visiting, together we raised an amazing £900 for Church funds as well as having a most enjoyable time.

Last week we held a special service to mark All Souls day where we read out the names of loved ones now departed, lighting candles in their memory. A special time of reflection.

This weekend marked All Saints day and since our Church is named “All Saints” we held a special celebration, giving thanks for all the Church has provided over the years. It is also a time when many offer donations to support the Church in the future. If you would like to do so, please contact Jill Barrell.

Looking ahead next weekend is very busy indeed:-

As Renhold Remembers the fallen, organisations from around the Village have decorated windows in the Church, please do come and take a look.

On Saturday morning everyone is invited to join in to spruce up the Church yard, clearing leaves in time for Remembrance Sunday.  Just turn up with what ever tools you have. Refreshments will be provided to keep us going.

On Saturday night it is the Quiz night, organised by the Friends of All Saints. This event is sold out and should be lots of fun as the village and friends compete to be crowned the “Brainiest in Renhold”

On Sunday, we mark Remembrance day with a short service at the War Memorial at 10:15am.  This is followed by a Service of Remembrance at the Church at 10:50am.

At 4pm, we gather again for a special Remembrance Songs of Praise.

As always, please email Jill as the first point of contact should you need any information or  if you need of a priest -
