SPECIAL APPEAL: FOOD BANK AND OTHER DONATIONS

Thank you to everyone who has so generously donated to the foodbank. Bedford Food Bank has already provided more emergency food in 2022 to Bedford families in crisis than it did in all of 2021, and they continue to need our help.

A collection box is situated at the rear of the Church, items urgently needed :

Fruit Juice (Longlife), tinned vegetables, coffee 100g, teabags (40/80), tinned meat in sauce (curry, chilli, stews), jars of curry sauce, tinned fruit, vegetables or tuna, long life milk, washing up liquid, anti-bac spray

- Thank you for your continued generosity

We also continue to support SMART in support of the homeless. During the Pandemic clients were moved into accommodation for their health and safety with government support. SMART are seeking financial support to continue this work. We invite you to make a personal financial donation to SMART Prebend

A Prayer for Ukraine

God of peace and justice, we pray for the people of Ukraine today. We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons. We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow, that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them. We pray fro those with power over war or peace, for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions. Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at-risk and in fear, that you would hold and protect them. We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

                                                 Amen.
