For over 800 years there have been services within our Church and we are proud to worship and carry on that tradition.


SUNDAY SERVICES

Our 8.00 am Service, on the first Sunday, is a said Holy Communion, which uses the Service within The Book of Common Prayer (Traditional)


OUR 11.00 AM SERVICE IS AS FOLLOWS:

All Sundays, a Sung Eucharist we use Common Worship (Contemporary).  As in every Eucharistic celebration at All Saints, all confirmed Christians are welcome and urged to come forward to receive the Bread and Wine of the Holy Communion. Those not confirmed may come to the Altar with a service book to indicate they would like a blessing. The Service lasts about one hour and is followed by Coffee in the Chapter House


OUR 6.00 PM/4.00 PM EVENING SERVICE

Every Sunday at 6.00 pm, is Sung Evensong & Sermon, but between October and March Evensong is at 4.00 pm. Additionally, there is usually a short Holy Communion Service, using Traditional Worship, following Evensong on the second Sunday only


WEEKDAY SERVICES

Special Eucharists are held on High Feast Days and other special occasions. Please see Notice Board


Every Wednesday there is a said Holy Communion at 10.00 am, which uses Traditional worship. Followed by coffee


Every month Holy Communion is conducted at Crossways Care Home and Little Paddocks Community Home in Renhold


DURING LENT

At the beginning of Lent Ash Wednesday 10.00 am Eucharist with imposition of Ashes


Compline  and Stations of the Cross are held during Lent - Please see Notice Board   


At the heart of our Christian life is Holy Week, and we have the following significant services


Palm Sunday. In addition to the 8.00 am Communion, the 11.00 am is always a Eucharist, preceded by a Procession with Palms from the School in Renhold at 10.45 am. Palm crosses are distributed at all services


Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

        We join other congregations in our Deanery for worship on these days - Please see Notice Board


Maundy Thursday

        7.30 pm Sung Eucharist of the last Supper. Stripping of the Altar followed by the Watch and         Compline

        

Good Friday

        11.00 am Service


Holy Saturday

The Easter Vigil at dusk - here or within the Deanery - Please see Notice Board


Easter Day

        8.00 am said Holy Communion which uses Traditional worship

        11.00 am Sung Eucharist which will include the Blessing of the Easter Garden

        6.00 pm Festal Evensong

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY CLOSEST TO NOVEMBER 11th

10.30 am Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial, Renhold  - procession to the Church

 10.50 am Parish Eucharist with time of Remembrance


ADVENT & CHRISTMAS

Also very important in our annual Calendar of Services is the Preparation for Christmas and Christmas itself


Advent Sunday fourth Sunday before Christmas


In addition to usual morning services during Advent we hold an Advent Carol Service, a Christingle Service and a Christmas Carol Service


Christmas Eve

           4.00 pm Children’s Crib Service        

        11.00 pm Midnight Mass with blessing of the Crib


Christmas Day

        8.00 am Holy Communion using Traditional worship

       11.00 am Family Eucharist


 EPIPHANY

        Dependant upon when it falls in the week, we celebrate on the nearest Sunday
