All non current Registers and Records are kept at the County Record Office in Bedford, where they can be consulted on request during searchroom opening hours.


The Registers to 1813 are in five books. The first contains all entries 1654 to 1707; the second, baptisms and burials 1708 to 1760 and marriages 1708 to 1754; the third. marriages 1755 to 1812; the fourth, baptisms and burials 1760 to 1802; and the fifth, baptisms and burials 1803 to 1812   The Banns recorded started in 1754 and only those where the marriage took place outside Renhold are included.  The date is of the third time of asking.


However, Bishops Transcripts of Parish Records begin in 1602 with a number of gaps, in particular almost the whole of the Commonwealth period.
